Nava Tirupathis

Among the 108 Divya desams, nine of them are in the Southern most part of India along the banks of Thamariparani river near Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur. The nine together are called Nava Tirupathis. It is also said that Navagrihas (nine planet Gods), each of them worshipped at one of these nine temples.
